eLECTIONS: Educators' Guide
Getting Started

We recommend that you read through How To Play The Game and then play eLECTIONS a couple of times to become familiar with how the game works, what topics are covered, and how information is presented. As you'll see, because state positions and polling data are randomly assigned at the beginning of each game and because the situations players will encounter are constantly changing, each game will be different.

As you play, think about how eLECTIONS relates to your curriculum, where your students may need assistance and how you can use it in your classroom.

This educator's guide and Vote Notes provide some general ideas, as well as specific suggestions and activities that can be used in or adapted for your classroom.

The entire guide can be downloaded or you can click on individual items to view exactly what interests you and your students.

Explore these ideas or design your own activities. Either way, eLECTIONS can be a great learning experience for your students!

And, if you find a creative way of using eLECTIONS, and we'll help you share it with fellow educators.
